Saltwater Fish FAQs
Is it possible to keep tilipia in an aquarium?
If you have a large enough aquarium it can easily accommodate tilipia.
If you have small tilipia fish you will need an aquarium that holds
at least 40 gallons, but larger tilipia require at least 70 gallons.
Also, make sure your water has a pH of six to 8.5. To prevent fighting
group tilipia with moderately aggressive fish of similar size. Catfish,
Garpikes, and tinfoil barbs make good company for tilipia.
Can saltwater fish be used in sushi?
Sushi has exploded in popularity in the United States in the last 15
years and seafood is commonly served in upscale sushi restaurants. Popular
sushi rolls incude striped bass and salmon. In fact, for those with
less-discerning American tastes you can get a Philadelphia roll which
includes salmon and cream cheese. It's like your Sunday morning lox
and a bagel except it includes sake instead of coffee.
What are the different kinds of crabmeat?
Crabmeat comes in four different varieties: lump, special, crab fingers
and claw. Lump meat has chunks of white body and is used in chili dishes.
Special meat is flaky and comes from the crab's body. It is best for
crab cakes, crab balls, and any other treats that require a mixture
of ingredients. Crab fingers are the actual pincers and must be cracked
to expose the meat. Usually crab fingers are served as appetizers. Some
say that claw meat has the most flavor.
