Saltwater Fish

Fishermen that are passionate about catching saltwater fish can spend the whole year pursuing the prize fish. During the winter they head to warmer climates like the Florida Keys. Fly fishermen fish shallow waters known as flats for trophy fish.

Saltwater fish can also be caught in deep waters. In the summer fishermen head north to catch striped bass in places like Maine and Rhode Island. A striped bass can weigh as much as 30 pounds.

Vacationers can travel the world in search of saltwater fish. Countries in South America and are known for their exotic fishing habitats. In fact, many tourist agents sell fishing vacation packages to remote countries and locations.
