Fish Tanks
Before you bring fish home you need to research fish tanks.
You don't want to put a number of large fish into a small tank and have
them float belly up. In addition, you need to make sure you do not put
small fish in with aggressive species and start a fish fight.
Once you've got the right fish tanks, you will need to develop an aquarium
maintenance schedule. Make sure you clean your tank every other week.
In fact, it would be best if you cleaned it once a week in order to
maintain a healthy environment for your fish and avoid build up of hard
to remove residues.
In order to clean your fish tanks you will need an aquarium vacuum,
a large bucket (5 gallons or more) and an aquarium glass scrubber. However,
you could simply purchase a clean vacuum Kit which would have all the
accessories you need. Remember: whenever you clean your fish tank you
should turn off the electricity to prevent the filter from clogging
up and also to keep you safe from electrocution.
